Lunges are a great bilateral lower body exercise, so here's how to avoid common mistakes and perfect this popular exercise!

#1 MISTAKE

Rounding the spine instead of maintaining good posture and a strong core.

#2 MISTAKE

As well as taking too short of a step and driving into the knees instead of the major lower body muscles.

MAKE IT BETTER BY:

Moving slower. Stand tall, take a big step, find your balance and then lower into the lunge. Return to start just as slow.
